- Trump Envoy for Special Missions, Ric Grenell, announced he is in talks with Venezuela's government and that "diplomacy is back"

- Diosdado Cabello signaled Venezuela is ready to re-establish dialogue with the US under Trump

- Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek William Saab said his country is willing to restart cooperation with the US to target "criminal transnational groups"
