U-S President, Joe Biden, allocates military aid to Taiwan totaling around 5-hundred-71 million dollars, as the Democratic leader prepares to leave office ahead of the January inauguration of Donald Trump. The White House has, in a brief statement, said Biden authorized the funds to provide military assistance to Taiwan. It didn't provide details of the military assistance package. While the U-S does not have formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan, it is the Asian island’s most significant international backer and arms supplier. China has repeatedly demanded Washington stop selling weapons to Taipei, which it claims as its territory. Beijing has warned that it is prepared to use military force to keep its territory united.
