Press Statement Issued by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas):

We in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) strongly condemn the terrorist bombing that led to the assassination of Khalil al-Rahman Haqqani, the Minister of Refugees in the Afghan Interim Government, along with several of his companions, in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

We express our full solidarity with the brotherly Afghan people and extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the Interim Government and the families of the victims. We ask Allah Almighty to grant the victims mercy and forgiveness, a swift recovery for the injured, and patience and solace to their families.
