Canada imposes second round of sanctions on perpetrators of extremist settler violence against civilians in West Bank"We oppose the expansion of illegal settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. We do not recognize Israeli control over the areas it occupied in 1967.
Israeli settlements are a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention and a serious obstacle to achieving a comprehensive and just peace.
We remain deeply concerned by extremist settler violence in the West Bank and condemn such acts, not only for the significant impact they have on Palestinian lives, but also for the corrosive impact they have on prospects for lasting peace. We call on authorities to ensure the protection of civilians and hold perpetrators of such violence accountable.”

This round of sanctions lists seven individuals and five entities for their role in facilitating, supporting or financially contributing to acts of violence by Israeli extremist settlers against Palestinian civilians and their property.
The seven individuals are the following:

Extremist settler violence has resulted in loss of life and damage to Palestinian property and farming lands. These attacks have also resulted in the forced displacement of Palestinian communities, contributing to insecurity for both Palestinians and Israelis in the West Bank.

A Canadian citizen protesting against the Israeli genocide was executed by Israeli troops.Media reports he was shot dead in a stabbing attempt near the border of Gaza (this appears to be a lie)
They called him a terrorist (this is also a lie)
The statement from the shooter who killed him: "He arrived at the gate in a white vehicle...and got out armed with a knife. I stepped on the weapon and let him drop the knife...the terrorist jumped at me armed with a knife - and we opened fire."
However, look at the video below. The footage shows that the Canadian was at a considerable distance from the soldiers and did not pose ANY threat to them.
Just before being killed, the Canadian citizen said "Civilians are being killed in Gaza by the IDF. "
