If she can’t ’stick the landing’ by 32, a mid 40s guy looks pretty attractive so long as he’s in good physical shape and has made something of himself. Age is an advantage at that stage, but the fact remains that she was unable to consolidate all the sexual capital she had in her 20s on a guy’s commitment.
This is why the thought of a young woman (19-21) getting with an older man is offensive to women. They interpret it as a waste of sexual capital. Older women hate being reminded of the unrealized potential they had in their 20s.
