Gisteren op Het RTL Nieuws: gigantische ijsschots op de zuidpool staat op het punt om te smelten en in zee te vallen. O gruwel! Totdat je beseft dat dit verscijnsel heel normaal is en 'spring breakup' heet, omdat in de lente de zon vrij spel heeft. 'Global warming' komt nl. door de zon en door niets anders. Gaan we na vulkanen nu ook de zon verbieden? De waarheid is dat op beide polen het ijs alleen maar toeneemt:
