BREAKING: A Statement by Al-Qassam Brigades Military Spokesman, Abu Obaida:

"We bless the heroic and exceptional operation at the Karama crossing carried out by the Jordanian martyr, the hero (Maher Al-Jazi), one of the heroes of the Al-Aqsa Flood.

The Jordanian hero's pistol, in defense of Al-Aqsa and our people, was more effective than massive armies and stockpiled military arsenals.

This operation reflects the conscience of our nation and the inevitable outcomes of the Al-Aqsa Flood, as well as the nightmare awaiting the Zionist entity."

BREAKING: HAMAS STATEMENT ON THE JORDANIAN SHOOTING

“The heroic Karama Crossing operation is a response to the crimes of the occupation and a confirmation of our nation's solidarity with our people and its brave resistance.

The heroic operation carried out by a hero from Jordan is a natural response to the holocaust that the Nazi zionist enemy is committing against our people in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, as well as its plans for displacement and the Judaization of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Karama Crossing operation reaffirms the Arab peoples' rejection of the occupation, its crimes, and its ambitions in Palestine and Jordan. It also confirms their strong support for our people and its brave resistance in defense of Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa.

As we honor the martyr, the brave hero who carried out the operation, we call on the Arab and Islamic peoples to rise up against the aggression and the war of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, and the vicious assault on our people in the proud West Bank.

Gaza, which defends the nation against the zionists and has been fighting a harsh battle for almost a year, calls on the nation and all the free people of the world to rise up against the occupation in support of Gaza, Al-Quds, and the West Bank, and in defense of the dignity of our nation and its national security."

Jordanians in Al-Ramtha distributed sweets to celebrate the operation carried out by Jordanian martyr Maher Al-Jazi at the Karameh crossing, where he killed three Israeli soldiers.

The operation avenged the blood of Palestinian martyrs and continues a legacy of Jordanian resistance at the Karameh crossing, including the martyrdom of Raed Al-Zouaiter in 2014 and the imprisonment of Sona Al-Ra'i in 1997.

It also follows the long-standing tradition of resistance in the Al-Jazi family, with Haroun Al-Jazi leading volunteers in the 1948 defense of Jerusalem and Mashhour Al-Jazi leading the Jordanian army in the 1968 Battle of Karameh.
