Southern Lebanon is witnessing a popular uprising as residents demand the Israeli army’s withdrawal from their villages, following the expiration of a 60-day agreement.

So far at least 15 civilians, including Lebanese soldiers, have been killed, and more than 80 others injured. While some villages have been reclaimed and the Lebanese army has entered, Israeli forces still maintain control over certain areas, refusing to withdraw despite the agreement.
