"First Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov @neoficialniybezsonov
Yesterday, simultaneously with the massive shelling of Donetsk, the Ukrainian units of information and psychological operations (IPSO) actively disseminated information on social networks that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were preparing to storm Donetsk. They even indicated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would enter the city in organized columns of military equipment in several places. Information was also thrown in with reference to the American media that Biden ordered the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to storm Donetsk, etc.
All this, as well as the massive chaotic shelling of the city, which does not take place at night, but during the daytime, when most city residents are on the street, is done for several quite logical reasons. The most important of them is the provocation of the withdrawal of our units from the northern front, where they are conducting successful offensive operations, back to Donetsk.
Additional goals are the terror of the local population and the emphasis on the fact that Russia cannot protect these territories from shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This should cause distrust and anger towards Russia among the civilian population and undermine the reputation of Russia as a whole.
I want to express my conviction, as well as the confidence of our fighters and commanders: the storming of Donetsk is impossible!
Where are these places where the Armed Forces of Ukraine can enter the city in organized columns? From the side of the Peskov? Along the Zaporozhye highway? That would be too great for us militarily. The Ukrainian command sent its special forces to break through Severodonetsk, which indicates that they no longer have forces from ordinary motorized rifles for these purposes. Those units that they now have left in the Donbass suffered colossal losses and were heavily diluted with inexperienced and unmotivated Teroboronists, and such units, at best, can only defend themselves, and not storm cities."
