JUST IN: Osama Hamdan’s statement regarding their response for the ceasefire proposal and confirmation that American Delta forces participated in Al-Nusseirat massacre.
Senior Hamas leader Osama Hamdan to Al-Mayadeen:
—
“Our response is our commitment to what we have previously agreed upon, which is the ceasefire and withdrawal from Gaza.
We have presented some observations on the proposal to the mediators.
I believe the American administration is trying to give "israel" a chance and is aligned with it, and the disagreement is only tactical.
The UN resolution has gaps, and it should set the zero hour for the ceasefire.
Hamas welcomed the UN resolution because it includes a ceasefire, relief for the Palestinians, and negotiations.
The talk about the "next day" is an illusion created by the "israelis," and for us, the next day is distinctly Palestinian.
We cannot trust "israel"; it only yields when it feels it cannot achieve victory.
I believe that the resistance fronts are harmonizing towards a single goal, and as Sayyed Nasrallah said, the outcome will be victory.
The resistance leadership in Gaza is leading the confrontation along with the tribes and the Palestinian people.
Hamas leadership does not succumb to pressures and at the same time remains positive.
The estimates presented to the Americans were that the war would last 6 weeks, but it has been ongoing for 8 months.
The "israelis" tried to create an image of achievement in Nusseirat, but in reality, they were exposed, and three of their captives were killed.
Racism revealed its true face when we see that the "israelis" killed and injured a thousand Palestinians in Nusseirat.
We have information that elements from the American "Delta" force participated in the Nusseirat operation.
The ongoing executions in the West Bank confirm one truth: what frightens the occupation is the resistance.”
