Three bills in Israel's parliament aim to shut down UNRWA due to its alleged ‘support of terrorism.’
One bill seeks to ban UNRWA operations in Israel, another proposes stripping UNRWA staff of legal immunities and privileges, and the third would designate UNRWA as a terrorist organization, requiring Israel to sever all ties with it.

The approval by the occupation Knesset, in the first reading, of a bill that considers UNRWA a terrorist organization, warns that the criminal entity is preparing to wage a starvation war against Palestinian refugees, not only in the Gaza Strip but also in the camps of the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds.
We see this decision, which is being pushed through, as a step towards accelerating the plan to annex the occupied West Bank to the entity, endangering the lives of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian families. It is part of the efforts to liquidate rights and end the Palestinian cause and comes in the context of the systematic targeting of the refugee issue and their rights.
We call on the free people of the world to confront these attempts managed by the zionist terror government and all the entity’s apparatuses and bodies, including the Knesset, as the legislative arm of the occupation, through which it issues legislations and laws that contradict the most basic human rights and international laws. It is a key partner in the war crimes and genocide that the usurping entity wages against the Palestinian people.
We demand that the countries supporting Palestinian rights in the United Nations General Assembly and human rights institutions take all measures to protect UNRWA and to prosecute Knesset members who pass such legislations on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.
