Hamas made its position clear in a statement regarding the Doha negotiations, which is based on the negotiation process.

The movement agreed to all the positive points in the mediators' proposal, but the occupation continued its massacres.

The main message is that we are not prepared to give the enemy more time to commit more massacres, and the goal is to stop the aggression.

Voor de liefhebbers van de militaire strategie achter de verzetsstrijders in het midden-oosten is deze uitwisseling tussen Justin en Jon smullen. Het gewapende verzet in Gaza heeft meer moed en ervaring opgebouwd dan welk leger dan ook ter wereld. Het Israelische leger is uitgeput en ze werken met beschadigd of supoptimaal materieel. Eenderde van de Amerikaanse zeevloot ligt al in het midden-oosten of is onderweg daar naartoe. Dit is een unieke kans om zowel Israel als Amerika een flinke slag toe te brengen!

Ook interessant dat ze het hebben over de mededeling van Qassam-leider Abu Obeida dat er een wraakactie heeft plaatsgevonden door een bewaker die een Israelische gevangen genomen soldaat heeft gedood omdat twee van zijn kinderen waren gedood door een Israelisch bombardement. Qassam heeft de kwestie binnen een dag onderzocht en disciplinare maatregelen genomen omdat dit tegen hun islamitische erecode is. Ze hoefden dit niet naar buiten te brengen en hadden het kunnen verzwijgen, maar het is duidelijk dat Israel geen enkele moraliteit kent en dat dit in schril contrast is met het islamitische verzet.
