The incitement campaigns organized by zionist groups and organizations related to the so-called temple, against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the dissemination of images calling for its destruction and burning, while incursions into its courtyards continue under the protection and supervision of the zionist extremist government, represent a dangerous escalation. This comes as part of zionist plans aimed at its Judaization, erasing its features, and imposing the hegemony of fascist settlers over it.
We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), warn of the grave consequences should the occupation government and its settler mobs carry out any actions that harm the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its Arab Islamic identity. We affirm that Al-Aqsa is the symbol of the struggle between our people and both our Arab and Islamic nations against this fascist occupier.
We call on our steadfast and patient Palestinian people to intensify their presence at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, to strengthen their stand in its courtyards, and to resist ionist plans against it. We also call upon our Arab and Islamic countries—their peoples, governments, and organizations—foremost among them the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to fulfill their duties regarding the dangers facing Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the total annihilation threatening our people in Gaza. We urge action to deter the occupation and halt its fascist aggression against the Palestinian people and the holy sites of the nation.
