Balsam [4 years old] and her family were killed by Israel today.Israel killed her father, Munir, her mother, the journalist Wafa, and her brother, Tamim, in an Israeli strike on their home in Deir Al-Balah last night, leaving her alone with severe wounds.
By dawn today, her small body could no longer resist, and she joined her family as a martyr.

Twenty-four years ago today, in 2000 and during the Second Intifada, 12-year-old Muhammad al-Durrah and his father, Jamal, were caught in a crossfire in Gaza.
The event was captured on video by French TV for more than 45 minutes, whilst Israeli Occupation Forces fired bullets on them.
Forces shot 12 year old Muhammad Al Durrah to death as his father (Jamal al-Durrah) tried to shield him.
The footage, published by France 2, quickly became a powerful symbol of the Palestinian struggle and suffering.
In October 2023, Jamal lost 2 more of his children due to an Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
The first video is from 2000, when he lost his first child, and the second video is from the current Genocide on Gaza.
