BREAKING: HAMAS OFFICIAL STATEMENT
“The shocking scenes that were published documenting the assault and abuse of Palestinian prisoners in the Zionist Ofer prison, under the supervision and direct orders of the terrorist minister Itamar Ben Gvir, reveal the true criminal face of this Nazi occupier, and are a photographic confirmation of the nature of the tragic conditions that our prisoners live in inside the prisons.
The oppression, abuse, deprivation, and medical neglect that our prisoners are subjected to in prisons, leading to the announcement of their martyrdom, represent war crimes and clear violations of all norms and laws pertaining to prisoners of war, and prove the extent to which this occupation evades any morals or human values.
We confirm that broadcasting these scenes, coinciding with the first anniversary of the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa on October 7, is a failed attempt to erase the failure of the occupation and its shattered prestige, and its humiliation and defeat that was achieved at the hands of our valiant resistance.
The escalation of the abuse of prisoners, depriving them of their rights, and the occupation's continued aggressive policies against them will not break their determination and firm will. The darkness of prison will be followed by the dawn of freedom soon, and our people and resistance are committed to the pledge of loyalty to the valiant prisoners, no matter the cost.
We call on the free world, human rights and international institutions to expose the crimes of the Nazi terrorist enemy against our prisoners and file lawsuits against its murderous criminal leaders for these horrific violations that are taking place in full view of the entire world.
We also call on the families of the prisoners and all our people in the West Bank to escalate their movement in support of the heroic prisoners and to do everything in their power in various fields to support and support them.”
