If the reports are true, Yahya Sinwar was martyred while engaging in combat as a resistance fighter, not as the Zionist media was claiming, saying he was deep underground, surrounded by prisoners, and wearing a suicide belt. It is very clear, if what is being circulated is accurate, that he was active both above and below ground for more than a year.
The assassination of the entire Hamas leadership is not an achievement compared to what has happened to the occupation. Even their survival until now is a miracle, given all the surrounding circumstances—the unprecedented, hellish war, the intelligence and technological means deployed to track them by the Israeli state and its allies, led by the superpower, the spies, and the narrow geographical space of the Gaza Strip. All of this makes what has happened so far a miracle.
The true victory for Israel would be to free all its captives alive, which would be a small victory. But the greater victory would be the elimination of the resistance and Hamas, and that has not and will not be achieved.
