JUST IN: How did Israel deceive the world to thinking they allowed Aid to go into North Gaza?
Aid trucks reached besieged families in Beit Hanoun, creating a moment of hope. However, hours later, the Israeli army launched heavy bombings, killing many families.
Soldiers then burned the school, destroying much of the aid, and forcibly displaced residents south.
Hebrew media reports the army claims the burning was an isolated act against orders.
Despite everything Secretary of State Blinken announced that, for now, U.S. military assistance to Israel will remain unchanged despite the deadline set for addressing Gaza’s humanitarian situation, which expires today.
Also U.S state department spox said. “We have not made an assessment that Israel is violating U.S. law.”
Noting that eight major international humanitarian organizations released a letter today, stating that Israel has not met the U.S. deadline for aid requirements.
