After 85 day of separation, I finally reunited with my loved ones. The exhaustion and pain clear on their faces. They endured a brutal siege seeing corpses and being far away from their families but somehow they still managed to smile when greeting us.

My people are an inspiration. Palestinians are an inspiration.

Free Palestine.

“Now they have come to take me.”

Currently, at a demonstration for the families of Israeli prisoners in Tel Aviv, a person is lying on the ground, dressed in blood-stained clothes, holding a sign that reads:

“At first, they came to take the Arabs – and I did not raise my voice, because I am not an Arab. Then they came and took the non-Jewish children – and I did not raise my voice, because I am not a non-Jewish child. Then they came to take the leftists – and I did not raise my voice, because I am not a leftist. Finally, they came to take me – and there was no one left to speak on my behalf.”

The quote is inspired by a famous statement by German pastor Martin Niemöller, who opposed the Nazis and wrote a similar reflection about them.

“The problem is not the Jewish presence in the holy land, it’s always been there. The problem is not high levels of Jewish immigration to Palestine. The problem here is the colonial agenda transforming an overwhelmingly Arab territory into an exclusivist and supremacist Jewish state which required the removal of the Arab population.”

⚡️BREAKING:

We have obtained horrifying initial testimonies about the sexual violence perpetrated by Israeli occupation soldiers against nurses, patients, and their companions at Kamal Adwan Hospital and in front of the individual hall.

The testimonies include harrowing details of assaults targeting professional dignity, where soldiers forced women to remove their clothing under threats and intimidation.

One testimony stated that a nurse was forcibly made by a soldier to remove her trousers while he groped her. When she attempted to resist, he struck her violently in the face, causing her nose to bleed. Another testimony mentioned that the soldiers threatened women, saying, "Take it off, or we'll remove it by force." When one of the women refused to remove her hijab, a soldier assaulted her by tearing off her cloak, exposing parts of her body.

One victim recounted being dragged by a soldier who pressed his weapon against her chest, saying, "Take it off now," while hurling obscene words at her.

Other girls were subjected to similar abuses, where soldiers attacked them by pulling their hair and forcing their heads down violently at one of the hospital entrances, accompanied by demeaning gestures and vulgar language.

⚡️JUST IN: Hamas statement calling for international investigation.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

We demand sending UN observers to Gaza hospitals to refute the occupation's lies and allegations about using them for military purposes

The continued targeting and systematic destruction of all medical facilities and hospitals by the criminal Zionist occupation army, the latest of which was the burning and destruction of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, places a historical responsibility on the United Nations and the international community for their failure to stop the war of extermination and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

We demand the United Nations and all relevant international institutions to urgently intervene, in accordance with their obligations under international humanitarian law, to protect the remaining hospitals and medical facilities in the north and supply them with medical supplies.

We also demand sending UN observers to these facilities in order to determine the truth of what is happening and refute the occupation's lies and allegations about using them for military purposes.
