Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said that his Cabinet won’t meet to approve the Gaza ceasefire deal until Hamas backs down from what it called a “last minute crisis.”

Netanyahu’s office accused Hamas of reneging on parts of the agreement in an attempt “to extort last minute concessions.”

The Israeli Cabinet was set to ratify the deal Thursday.

There is no basis for Netanyahu's claims that the movement has backed down from provisions of the ceasefire agreement.

The occupation wants to create a state of tension at a critical time, and we demand that it be obligated to implement the agreement.

️JUST IN: An Israeli lawyer has filed submissions to the ICC against 8 Israeli officials including Netanyahu and Herzog for incitement to genocide.

Omer Shatz, an Israeli lawyer, is filing a lawsuit at the International Criminal Court against eight Israeli officials, including President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for incitement to genocide against Palestinians.

A 170-page submission, which he says took a year to prepare with students at the International Law In Action clinic at Sciences Po in Paris, where he is a lecturer, accuses the eight, who also include the former defence minister, Yoav Gallant, of having “publicly and directly incited others to commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza”

The other accused are the current Israeli defence minister, Israel Katz, retired major general Giora Eiland, Israeli finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, the national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the journalist Zvi Yehezkeli.

Following the announcement of reaching the agreement, the enemy’s army targeted a location where one of the female captives from the first phase of the upcoming deal was present.

Any aggression or bombing by the enemy at this stage could turn the freedom of a captive into a tragedy.
