JUST IN: lsraeli PM Netanyahu’s office:- Reports circulating about the Palestinian Authority’s actual partnership in managing the Rafah border crossing are inaccurate.
- In the first phase of the agreement, the arrangements stipulate that Israeli military forces will remain stationed around the crossing, with strict monitoring of entry and exit movements conducted by the “Shin Bet” and the Israeli army.
- The technical administration of the crossing is handled by Gazan employees who are unaffiliated with Hamas.
