The Rafah Border Crossing between Egypt and southern Gaza is set to reopen today for the first time. The crossing will be monitored by European security forces and operated by Palestinian officials.

Officials from the EU-led Security Task Force have arrived at the crossing, with operations expected to resume in the coming hours.
