️JUST IN: Press Statement No. (750) Issued by the Government Media Office:“We urge our brothers in the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization to prioritize sending tents and shelter supplies in their upcoming aid convoys.
In light of the catastrophic humanitarian conditions faced by our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and with the continued arrival of much-appreciated aid convoys from various entities, we emphasize the urgent and pressing need to provide shelter for the displaced families who have lost their homes due to the brutal Israeli aggression against our people.
Given this critical necessity, we call on our brothers in the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization to prioritize sending tents and shelter supplies in their upcoming aid convoys, alongside food and other relief materials at this time.
Providing shelter has become an urgent humanitarian necessity that cannot be delayed. It is the most critical need at this stage, ensuring a minimum level of dignity and protection for thousands of families sleeping in the open amid harsh winter conditions.
We call on the guarantors, the international community, and mediators to pressure the Israeli occupation to open the crossings and allow the immediate and urgent entry of shelter materials.
