JUST IN: Israel’s Defense Minister, Yisrael Katz, threatens to annex parts of the Gaza Strip and impose collective punishment.Katz says he has instructed the IDF to seize additional areas of the Gaza Strip while issuing evacuation orders for Palestinian civilians in those areas.
In a statement, Katz says: “If the Hamas terror organization continues to refuse to release the hostages, I instructed the IDF to capture additional areas, evacuate the population, and expand the security zone around Gaza for the protection of Israeli communities and IDF soldiers, through a permanent hold of the area by Israel.”
“As long as Hamas continues its refusal, it will lose more and more land that will be added to Israel,” Katz says.
Katz says Israel will “intensify” its military campaign against Hamas, including “through the expansion of the ground maneuver until the hostages are released and Hamas is defeated.”
He adds that Israel will use “all military and civilian pressure, including evacuation of the Gaza population south and implementing US President Trump’s voluntary migration plan for Gaza residents.”

In light of the continued brutal zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, where the occupation persists in killing, destruction, siege, and starvation, it is simultaneously waging a systematic media and psychological war aimed at breaking the will and resilience of our people by spreading rumors, promoting lies, and distributing misleading leaflets to our steadfast people.
This blatant propaganda war targets our patient and steadfast Palestinian people, as well as free voices that defend them and the choice of resistance, using all its media tools, arms, and propaganda platforms.
Unfortunately, these campaigns intersect in their content with certain rhetoric and campaigns issued by parties that align with the occupation, attack the choice of resistance, and weaken our people’s resilience at this critical moment—something that serves, whether intentionally or unintentionally, the occupation’s goals and its attempts to undermine the unity of the internal front and the popular support base.
We affirm that our Palestinian people will remain steadfast, holding firmly to their national rights, foremost among them the choice of comprehensive resistance, as the most effective path to liberation and the restoration of land and holy sites.
These incitement campaigns, regardless of their source, will not succeed in shaking our people’s determination or affecting the will of their resistance.
We call upon journalists and activists to engage in the broadest media and interactive effort to support our people and their resistance.

A Recap of What Really Happened on September 9, 2024:
• The IDF claimed to have killed three Hamas leaders, including Osama Tabash
• That same night, the IDF targeted at least 20 tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza’s coastal area
• At least 40 civilians, including children, were slaughtered in their sleep, their tents obliterated, leaving behind a massive crater
• The IDF deliberately bombed a designated humanitarian area
• Israel justified the attack by claiming Hamas was using civilians as human shields
• The IDF insisted it conducted "extensive intelligence gathering" before the strike, claiming it had confirmed the presence of Hamas members.
• The IDF lied. Osama Tabash and the others were not there.
• The IDF uses Hamas as an excuse to massacre civilians, and when that lie isn't enough, they resurrect the dead to justify more killing.
