⚡️JUST IN:

A grieving Palestinian mother cried out, “I am the mother of the martyr—I brought in only his skull. Do you remember me?” after Israeli airstrikes hit the second floor of the emergency department at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, this evening.

She had rushed from another building upon hearing the blast, having once carried the only part of her son’s body that remained.

Hamas Statement:

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

"And do not think of those who have been killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision."

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns, entrusting to Allah, the great leader and fighter: The Martyred Brother, Ismail Barhoum, Member of the Political Bureau of the Movement in the Gaza Strip

who rose as a martyr due to a cowardly zionist assassination, targeted by bombing at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis while he was receiving medical treatment.

The targeting of leader Barhoum, as he was undergoing treatment within a hospital ward, is yet another crime added to the occupation's extensive record of terrorism, violating sanctities, lives, and health facilities. It again confirms its disregard for all international conventions and its continuation of systematic killings against our people and their leaders.

We strongly condemn the crime of bombing the hospital, a severe escalation in zionist war crimes against our people, and a blatant violation of international laws and norms.

The martyred leader Ismail Barhoum was among the symbols of Islamic and da'wa work and one of the pillars of the Movement in the Gaza Strip, exemplifying steadfastness, generosity, and dedication. He spent his life serving his people, religion, and cause, faithful to Palestine and its sacred sites, sincerely committed, and actively involved in preaching, community work, and humanitarian efforts.

We in Hamas, bidding farewell to this great leader, pledge to Allah and then to our people that the blood of our leaders will remain beacons on the path of resistance and freedom. The crimes of occupation will not deter us from continuing the path of resistance and jihad until liberation and return.

We ask Allah to accept him among the martyrs, comfort the hearts of his family and loved ones, and grant us and them patience and solace.

⚡️BREAKING:

AlJazeera correspondent Journalist Hossam Shabat was martyred after his car was directly targeted by Israeli occupation forces.

I remember how he called me, joyful that a ceasefire had been declared and he could finally reunite with his mother.

He was kind to everyone around him and always did all he could to help his people and convey their suffering. He wasn’t just a journalist—he was truly human.

I recall him telling me, “I write my name on my body, fearing that if I’m killed by Israel, I’ll be unrecognizable. I don’t want to be an unknown body.”

Today, Hossam, I say this to you: we recognize you. We know you, your story, and who you are. I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop this from happening. I’m sorry, my friend. May God have mercy on your soul and accept you as a martyr.

Journalist Hossam Shabat said when Israel assassinated Journalist Ismail Al-Ghoul:

“We are not criminals!
Since the beginning of this war we’re providing coverage yet the israeli occupation continues to target us, WE ARE NOT CRIMINALS”

Today, Israel killed him—enabled by Western media and journalists who white washed and remained silent in the face of Israel’s ongoing crimes.

⚡️BREAKING: Journalist Hossam Shabat’s team shares his final message:

“If you’re reading this, it means I have been killed—most likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old—a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people’s side.

By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest—something I haven’t known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.

I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free.

— For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza.”

⚡️BREAKING: Al-Qassam Brigades released a new footage of Israeli captives, they call out Netanyahu and the released Israeli hostages:

“Tell them, Ohad!”

“Today we are just numbers, 21 and 22….this is not psychological warfare video, we begged for it! We want to talk!”

“Ohad, why don’t you tell them? You were with us, you sat with us. Speak up for us—you know the extent of the suffering we’re going through here. You know what it was like during the deal and during the war.”

By God, my dear, our throats have gone hoarse. It's like calling out to those who will not listen. By God, if our cries were directed at idols, they would have moved!

All we need is for you not to leave us alone, screaming until our voices go hoarse, with no one to hear us.

—Journalist Hossam Shabat

After surviving for 492 days, journalist Hossam Shabat was hunted down and deliberately killed by Israel nearly a month later, simply for conveying the truth about his people’s suffering and exposing Israel’s crimes.

I can’t even begin to imagine how his mom is feeling right now. He used to tell me that once this genocide ended, he would get married and start his life…

⚡🇵🇸🇮🇱BREAKING: Hebrew media reveals that Gaza’s only cancer hospital, the Turkish Hospital, was classified as a non-sensitive target—yet was still blown up.

Haaretz Exposé: The IDF is investigating suspicions that Brigadier General Yehuda Wahab destroyed a hospital building in Gaza without authorization.

According to military regulations, destroying “sensitive targets” such as universities or hospitals requires approval from the Southern Command chief or the IDF Chief of Staff. Months before the ceasefire, the IDF had converted the hospital into a military post. Now, an investigation has been opened on suspicion that Wahab, commander of Division 252, unilaterally reclassified the building as a non-sensitive target and then ordered its destruction without his superiors’ approval.
