Palestina - Israël

So Israel claims their “soldiers made mistakes over the killing of 15 paramedics”.

When Israel is exposed for lying and deliberately targeting civilians, journalists aid workers, UN and non-combatants it’s always a mistake right?

Their cycle is literally:

1- deny it ever happened
2- ok it happened but it was KHamas
3- ok maybe we need to investigate
4- we made a mistake, it happens.

⚡️The State of Ceasefire Negotiations as of April 5th, 2025:

As of April 5, 2025, ceasefire negotiations have stalled, and Israeli attacks on Gaza have intensified. Hamas, which remains committed to the January 19 agreement, accepted an Egyptian-Qatari ceasefire proposal on March 29, including a 50-day truce, release of 5 Israeli captives (1 every 10 days), 250 Palestinian prisoners with life sentences, 2,000 Gazan detainees, IOF withdrawal from areas occupied since March 19, full reopening of crossings, a significant aid flow, and a commitment to finalize permanent ceasefire talks within the truce.

Israel, in coordination with the U.S., responded with a counterproposal demanding the release of 11 living captives (including one Israeli-American soldier “for free”), 16 bodies, in exchange for 120 Palestinian prisoners, 160 bodies, and 1,111 detainees. The plan, known as the Witkoff Proposal, reduced the truce to 40 days and imposed unacceptable conditions: Hamas disarmament, non-withdrawal of Israeli forces, and exile of Hamas leadership. It also postponed permanent ceasefire negotiations until after the truce, contrary to Hamas’ demand they conclude during it. Hamas rejected the proposal.

Less than 24 hours ago, Egypt presented a revised proposal to bridge the gap.

Following the failed talks, Israel escalated its military operations, launching ground assaults in Shuja’iyya, Khirbet Al-Adas, Rafah, and areas east of “Netzarim,” alongside intensified airstrikes.

Hamas spokesperson Abu Obeida warned yesterday that half of the 24 living Israeli captives are in areas ordered evacuated by Israeli forces. Al-Qassam will not move them, placing responsibility for their safety on Netanyahu. Originally, 251 captives were taken; 59 remain, with 24 believed to be alive.

Separately, Hamas submitted a list of 10–15 candidates for the Community Support Committee to help administer the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, political pressure on Netanyahu is mounting amid domestic protests and the “Qatargate” scandal. He announced plans to meet with Donald Trump on Monday to discuss tariffs, Iran, and Turkey, following an invitation from Washington.

French President Macron will also travel to Cairo for a tripartite meeting with Egyptian President El-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah, focused on Gaza.

The original three-phase deal began on January 19 at 8:30 AM and ended March 1, with Phase 2 meant to deliver a permanent ceasefire and full IOF withdrawal. Talks collapsed due to Israeli violations. Since then, Israel has created the “Morag Corridor” to separate Rafah from Khan Younis, and reasserted control over the Netzarim corridor.

No breakthrough is in sight as Israeli bombardment of Gaza continues relentlessly.

Temple Mount groups released an AI-generated image of Itamar Ben Gvir holding a Passover sacrifice, referencing plans by settler groups to perform the ritual inside Al-Aqsa Mosque during the upcoming Jewish holiday.

The image also depicts a virtual scene of Al-Aqsa’s destruction and the construction of the so-called Third Temple in its place.
