Press release issued by Hamas:“The storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by settler groups this morning, under the protection of the occupation forces, and their performance of Talmudic rituals and provocative tours of its courtyards, constitutes a renewed violation of the sanctity of the mosque and a continuation of the terrorist attempts of the occupation government to Judaize Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem, and obliterate their Arab and Islamic identity.
We call on our steadfast Palestinian people, especially in Jerusalem, the occupied territories, and the occupied West Bank, to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque, confront the settlers’ attempts to impose a Judaization reality on it, and escalate clashes with the occupation army and its terrorist settlers, in defense of our land, our holy sites, and our national cause.
We also call on Arab and Islamic countries, governments, peoples, and institutions, foremost among them the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to take urgent action to stop the occupation's violations and crimes against our Palestinian people, and to intervene to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque from the major dangers surrounding it, in light of this brutal attack led by the fascist Zionist clique against our people, and the ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip.”

️BREAKING: Head of Hamas' Political Bureau Abroad, Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, to Al-Jazeera: We are open to all offers that alleviate the suffering of our people, and what Netanyahu is demanding is a surrender agreement.
Netanyahu is setting impossible conditions to sabotage any ceasefire agreement.
The demand to disarm the resistance is not up for discussion and will never happen.
The existence of resistance weapons is tied to the continuation of the occupation—they exist to protect our people and our national rights.
In its latest proposal, the occupation does not commit to a full cessation of war—it only wants to receive the captives.
We are ready to release all the living and dead captives at once in exchange for ending the war and withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu is acting in his own political interest, and Trump is his partner in killing the people of Gaza.
There is currently no direct communication with the U.S. administration.
The proposal presented to us is an "israeli" one and includes, for the first time, the disarmament of the resistance as a condition for starting the second phase of negotiations.
Surrender is not an option for the Hamas movement, and we will not accept breaking the will of our people.
Hamas will not surrender, will not raise the white flag, and will use all pressure cards against the occupation.

Hamas is the predictable result of an outside military power that put those people in a concentration camp and abuses them in every way possible. There was no Hamas the first 45 years of occupation and no Hamas in power until 2006. Prior to Hamas in power they were being colonized by settlers. So do not pretend like this is a reaction to Hamas. You can't reacted to resisters anyway as they are reacting to you. You are occupying them, you are blockading them, you are cyclically bombing them.
