️JUST IN: The details of yesterday’s “security incident” in which Two Zionist officers were killed and six soldiers wounded.
After Israeli aerial and artillery bombardment of an area about 1.5 kilometers from the border, a force of Israeli undercover units (“Mistaravim”)—soldiers disguised as Arabs in civilian clothing, speaking Arabic, and appearing Arab—entered a building in Shuja’iyya to carry out an ambush.
However, the undercover force fell into a trap set by the Palestinian resistance, who opened fire on them, killing one soldier and wounding several others.
The fighters engaged in a two-hour battle, including five direct clashes.
At the beginning of the clash, an anti-tank missile struck a military vehicle attempting evacuation, injuring a soldier moderately.
Later, two more anti-tank missiles targeted a tank from the battalion.
About an hour later, a second tank advanced to evacuate forces but was hit by another anti-tank missile, killing a platoon commander (ranked captain) and lightly wounding another soldier.
Roughly half an hour later, another anti-tank missile was fired at the forces, followed by small-arms fire from resistance cells, moderately injuring two more soldiers.
