My take on this:

It is often said Oct. 7 was an inside job, meaning Hamas and Israel conspired together to commit these attacks. Those claiming this also incorrectly claim Hamas was created by Israel, therefore they are one and the same.

No, they're not. Hamas is an organic and legitimate resistance group, it was not created by Israel. Netanyahu does, however, have a history of either supporting Hamas directly or indirectly, due to its more militant nature, in order to derail peace talks with the more moderate (and corrupt) PLO, now PA.

Netantayu needed an excuse to raze Gaza to the ground and create a new Nakba. The Nova festival provided HUMAN SHIELDS to have more civilian deaths and to act as a buffer to prevent Hamas from disabling the Gaza Division HQ. Add to this the mass Hannibal event by Israel in which even more Israeli lives were sacrificed (not mentioned in the video) and you see how this benefited Israel's genocidal onslaught in Gaza for the last 8 months

Here's where I believe things did not go as planned for Israel. They did not expect Hamas to be as effective as they were on Oct. 7. They also expected to wage a fast 'blitzkrieg' into Gaza instead of the war of attrition it has become. They seriously underestimated their mortal enemy and they never expected other arab militias such as the Houthis, Iraqi resistance and Hezbollah to be as effective as they have been. They also underestimated Iran.

In the end, it will be Israel's hubris that will lead to its inevitable downfall. It's just sad that so many Palestinian lives had to be taken along with the fall of Israel. And yes, Hamas does care about Palestinian civilians. They are highly effective at pushing back Israeli ground forces, but since they lack an air force they are powerless against the IDF's brutal and cruel aerial bombardments. History will judge Israel and its Western accomplices as the colonial and genocidal maniacs that they are.
