A patrol led by the deputy commander of the “Nahal” Brigade was traveling down a side street in an area that the Israeli army described as “cleared,” meaning that resistance there had been completely eliminated. This occurred in Beit Hanoun, at the northernmost tip of the Gaza Strip and a short distance from the border overlooking Israeli settlements.
A powerful IED, manufactured by the resistance using remnants of Israeli military equipment, detonated inside one of the vehicles, killing three soldiers and officers who were inside. Following this, Palestinian resistance fighters completed the mission by directly firing on the convoy to confirm the casualties, as well as on the rescue team, before reportedly withdrawing from the area through a tunnel.

️BREAKING;Haaretz, citing informed sources, reported that the Israeli occupation army has approved plans for a “rapid withdrawal” from large areas in Gaza, in light of what has been described as progress in ongoing negotiations.
According to the report, the army has studied several scenarios for the withdrawal, including withdrawing through the Nitzarim axis, despite the challenges posed by the complex infrastructure and the numerous military sites in the area. Nevertheless, the army indicated its ability to carry out the withdrawal if necessary.
Despite these reported developments, the deal remains “partial” at this stage, and what has been announced are merely initial steps that may change or face obstacles.
