Bulgarian President Rumen Radev is outraged that Bulgaria and Poland were deprived of Russian gas, while Germany and Austria continue to receive it - Bulgarian newspaper Dnevnik
In Bulgaria, after the suspension of gas supplies from Russia, a large-scale political crisis began.
Former Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said that the Cabinet of Ministers deliberately dragged the country into this problem in order to launder money through intermediaries.
For his part, former Energy Minister Delyan Dobre expressed the opinion that the government did not open a ruble account with Gazprombank in order to purchase Russian gas at a higher price through intermediaries.
Earlier it was reported that the largest energy companies in Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia are preparing to open ruble accounts with Gazprombank in Switzerland. Bulgaria and Poland renounced this in principle.
