The capture of an Iranian soldier or official by Israel in Syria has been denied
The news outlet of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that no Iranian forces were present at the claimed location (Masyaf) in Syria. Instead, the area is under the control of the Syrian army, and therefore the subsequent claim of Iranian forces being harmed or captured is completely false.
Some news sources had claimed that several Iranian forces were abducted by Israeli forces in a helicopter raid on the "Masyaf" base in Syria.Source: Fars news.
