By now, it should be blatantly obvious what Trump is doing. He's rage baiting certain groups against him by pretending to be Mr. Zio in order to force rapid changes which would otherwise not have happened or taken too long to manifest.
By cracking down on 'antisemitism' on college campuses he's actually re-igniting pro-Palestinian protests, which had pretty much died down in the summer of last year. Trump then uses these protests as an excuse to withdraw federal funding to these colleges for being 'unsafe for Jews'.
Last year showed that college students, among whom are many Jews, no longer have the boomer mindset of going along to get along. "You can't change the world. Just get a degree so you can find a good job and become a decent tax payer. Don't create any ripples because it will jeopardize your future." You know, that sort of mindset.
Students rightly said that if this is the way of the world, then we have no future. Who wants to have a high-paying job in a society that is interested only in preserving the status quo, no matter how inhuman and immoral?
Add to this the fact that modern colleges are no longer a benefit to society at large. Where they used to be bastions of knowledge and free thought they are now institutes of cultural Marxist indoctrination, churning out belligerent, woke feminists with clown hair and their weak male beta orbiters.
Trump knows that these institutes must be torn down in order to rebuild society on traditional values and norms. And the fastest way to do this is through antagonism. Colleges are now in a catch-22. Trump rallies students against the system, colleges crack down on the protests in a violent manner, and Trump says, "See? This is un unsafe environment for Jews. I'm withholding funds."
Just like Trump is shutting down USAID, so is he weaning educational institutes off the government teat. The gravy train is gone, now these colleges will have to reinvent themselves by providing real education based on merit in order to survive.
This has nothing to do with 'antisemitism', it's about rapidly reshaping American education. Trump is not just doing this at a college level, which is why he has shut down the Department of Education, causing states to fund public schools and not the federal government.
But, you say, didn't Trump also promise to restore free speech in America and how does that square with undermining free speech activism on college campuses to favor a tiny segment of the population? Yes, he did promise that and if just one student decides to build a court case arguing that this is an infringement on free speech and the right to protest there's a high likelihood this may be rolled back.
Do you see now how Trump presents enough of an existential threat to all parties involved to fight for their rights and their future? People have had it too easy, they became complacent and took their freedoms for granted. It allowed thecultural Marxists to infiltrate all layers of society to spread their venom to the point where this has become the societal norm.
Mainstream conservatives never ask the question of what it is exactly they need to conserve. They are only interested in conserving the status quo, for better or worse. And so now there's also such a thing as the 'woke right', they've also become infected with the woke mind virus.
Societal change doesn't come from the traditional right, it must come from leftwing activists, who are easily activated by turning them against their 'orange man' antagonist. Freedom must be fought for and can never be taken for granted, or we run the risk of losing it for good. These are not idle words, it must be learned from experience.
Trump is employing the same tactic both at home and on the world stage. By being everyone's favorite punching bag and turning people against him they are actually fighting for their own survival, rights and freedoms. #StableGenius
