So this is an advertisement for the event held at the temple yesterday… a few thoughts:
1. Why would you *not* expect to have protests when you’re hosting events like this? The flyer literally advertises homes for sale in the best “Anglo” neighborhoods in Israel and at least one of the listings was for property in the West Bank.
2. After what happened at UCLA last month why the hell was the LAPD not deployed in full force to keep the peace? This is outrageous and totally unacceptable. Clearly they had ample warning.
3. These security failures feel orchestrated and the total condemnation of Palestinian protesters by leftwing politicians this morning, without any mention of why they were there, feels extremely scripted.
4. I strongly encourage pro-Palestine protesters to look into these events closely before attending any more. If there’s a good chance that Zionists are going to show up in big numbers to counter protest demand police presence and wear cameras as often as possible. Don’t take the bait.

These words add to previous assessments that Iran would be willing to take risks to ensure the survival of Hezbollah, which is considered its most important force in the Middle East.

The US State Department said it had asked Israel to investigate and “can’t offer” own assessment of the incident from earlier this year, where a six-year-old Palestinian girl found dead along with members of her family in northern Gaza, likely killed by tank fire.
The comments follow a UK-based research group releasing a forensic investigation, which found that the family’s car had been hit with 335 bullets, most likely IDF-issue, and that it was “not plausible that the shooter could not have seen that the car was occupied by civilians, including children.”
