THIS IS A QUOTE FROM AN EX CISCO EMPLOYEE:

“The level of dehumanization of Palestinians and Arabs in our workplace has become too much to bear,”

Cisco is cracking down on Pro Palestine voices, punishing employees for speaking out while turning a blind eye to their grief and loss.

KEY ACTIONS BY CISCO:

▪︎ Imposed new internal "guardrails" on March 25 to restrict discussion of Palestine in company-wide forums.

▪︎ Fired a pro-Palestine employee just hours after the policy was announced, citing “harmful work environment” claims.

▪︎ Deleted the largest internal pro-Palestine WebEx group, *Bridge to Humanity (B2H)*, and removed its associated educational site.

▪︎ Dismissed or pressured out additional employees involved in Palestine solidarity efforts in the following days.

▪︎ Ignored the emotional toll on staff. Internal data showed 32 employees lost 288 relatives in Gaza since October 2023.

▪︎ Maintained partnerships with entities tied to Israel’s military while suppressing employee dissent related to those links.

⚡️BREAKING:

The Trump administration instructed officials on Thursday to implement social media screenings for all US visa applicants who have traveled to the Gaza Strip since 1 January 2007, according to an internal State Department cable reviewed by Reuters.

The directive states that the social media checks should apply to both immigrant and non-immigrant visa applicants, including NGO personnel and those who have visited Gaza in any official or diplomatic role, regardless of the duration of their stay.

"If the review of social media results uncovers potential derogatory information relating to security issues, then a SAO must be submitted," the cable said, referring to a security advisory opinion, which is an interagency process used in deciding whether to grant or deny a US visa.

BREAKING: A federal judge has ordered ICE to bring Tufts student Rumeysa Ozturk from Louisiana to Vermont.

This is a major legal win and the first such ruling for a detained student.

Just yesterday, a Trump-era immigration judge denied her bond, calling her a "danger."

Her "crime"? Co-authoring an op-ed urging Tufts to acknowledge the Palestinian genocide and divest from Israel-linked firms.

This is a W for Free Speech
