Article 51.

Of course, to comprehend that, you’d have to give a damn about international law.

But you’re the ambassador of a genocidal criminal enterprise.

Maybe now you understand why no one supports the cancerous mass that is Israel, but rather its excision.

BREAKING: IRAN OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO UN SECURITY COUNCIL

"If Israel wants to continue its evil operations, it will receive a response dozens of times stronger.

We will not hesitate to defend ourselves and reveal a small part of our deterrent power.

We targeted Israeli military sites in the attack and there are no other operations on our agenda.

We took minimal punitive measures and avoided targeting economic facilities and infrastructure."

The U-N Security Council will vote on the Palestinians bid to become a full member state of the United Nations. According to diplomatic sources the vote is expected to occur Thursday or Friday due to lack of firm decision on the exact date. Malta's diplomatic mission, which holds the presidency of the Security Council in April, has yet to confirm a schedule. The Palestinians, who have had observer status at the world body since 20-12, have lobbied for reviving a 20-11 U-N membership application last week. The request which amounts to recognition of Palestinian state must first pass through the Security Council and then be endorsed by the General Assembly.

RUSSIA’S STATEMENT TO THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL

“We are convinced that full membership of Palestine in the world Organization would help to equalize the starting negotiating positions with Israel, which received this full-fledged status more than 75 years ago.

We see this as an opportunity to at least partially correct the historical injustice done to the long-suffering Palestinian people, who have lost an unprecedented number of peaceful lives over the past seven months.

The consequences of Israel's actions, which are covered by the US, will be felt for many years, and the Palestinians will need the closest possible involvement in the work of the relevant UN bodies to overcome them.”

HAPPENING NOW:

This is unprecedented and HUGE.

The UN General Assembly (not the Security Council, so no veto possible) are voting on a resolution that would grant Palestine new rights and revive its UN membership bid.

This is designed to bypass the US veto on the Security Council and is virtually guaranteed to be approved given the overwhelming support that Palestine has among UN member states.

The resolution would enable Palestine to sit among member states alphabetically, speak on any agenda item at the UN, address international groups on its behalf, and submit resolutions in its name.

The resolution draft points out that this is done "on an exceptional basis and without setting a precedent."

The Israeli UN ambassador has already said that “if it is approved, I expect the United States to completely STOP FUNDING THE UN and its institutions, in accordance with American law."

This is a battle between the"Rules-Based Order" and International Law.
