Zweden

🇸🇪 🇫🇮 Shortly after joining NATO, both Sweden and Finland announced that they were going to criminalize Holocaust denial.

As of July 1st, 2024, it's illegal to deny, belittle, or excuse the Holocaust in Sweden. The maximum punishment for doing so is two years in prison.

All political parties represented in the Swedish parliament were in favour of the new law.
