Paus Franciscus hekelt ‘anti-vaxxers’ en noemt het weigeren van een COVID-prik een ‘bijna suïcidale daad van ontkenning’ –
“De paus berispte degenen die geen injectie kregen, of die zich publiekelijk tegen hen verzetten, door te zeggen:

Franciscus uitte ook een nauwelijks verhulde veroordeling van kardinaal Raymond Burke, die zich krachtig verzette tegen de injecties en die ook in het ziekenhuis lag met COVID-19 en ernstige gezondheidsproblemen.
“Er waren zelfs een paar anti-vaxxers onder de bisschoppen: sommigen waren de dood nabij”, aldus Franciscus, in navolging van een verhulde opgraving die hij in 2021 tegen de Amerikaanse kardinaal maakte.
Franciscus verwees naar de COVID-gerelateerde lockdowns als een ‘griezelig scenario’ en verklaarde dat ‘[d]zijn grimmige scenario begon te veranderen met de komst van de eerste vaccins’, waarbij hij naliet de veelheid aan bijwerkingen te noemen die verband hielden met de uitrol van de vaccins. experimentele prikken, waaronder stijgingen in onder meer hart-, hersen- en bloedziekten.
De paus, die vanaf het begin een uitgesproken voorstander van de injecties is gebleven, meende dat “er een algemene angst ontstond toen oppervlakkige verklaringen over de werking van de vaccins spraken over injecties van het virus in het lichaam.
