Mark Cuban trashes X calling it a
“shithole” claiming Elon Musk “fucked that shit up” and praises Instagram because it’s still “chill” and people can “have fun”.
So let’s review @mcuban how “chill” and “fun” Instagram is:
- Last year, the Wall Street Journal reported that researchers found that Instagram is so chill that it enabled people to connect to accounts that used terms to advertise child-sex material for sale and that pedophilic accounts use the cheese pizza emoji as pedophile code and some of these accounts bore the indications of sex trafficking.
- In December, New Mexico Democrat Attorney General Raúl Torrez filed a lawsuit against Meta and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and associated entities, including Instagram in an effort to curb child sexual exploitation on its platforms. The lawsuit reveals how pedophiles use pizza as code for child porn to hide their criminal behavior.
- During a Senate hearing Zuckerberg testified at in January, Ted Cruz pointed out that Instagram identified that some posts may contain child sexual abuse material (aka child porn!) and it still allowed viewers to see the illegal content with a button that read “see results anyway”.
Instagram certainly is “fun” & “chill” if you’re a pedophile! That platform has enabled child sex predators to commit sex crimes against children, full stop. Meanwhile, people who expose pedophiles and child sex trafficking are banned there — not so fun and chill for us and certainly not for the victims!
And finally, @elonmusk and his team at X have done more to combat online trafficking and CSAM than any other major social media company; yet, you continue to trash him and praise platforms enabling sex crimes against children.
It’s time to take the L, yet again, Mark!
