Ik zei het vooral omdat in links global cooling wordt genoemd,
dat is net zulke onzin als Al Gore's global warming.
 
Global cooling is geen onzin. Terwijl de 'warmterecords' waarover in de media wordt gesproken berusten op tienden of honderden achter de komma en dus marginaal zijn, worden er kouderecords gebroken die soms teruggaan tot de 18e eeuw!

Er zijn plaatsen waar het 300 jaar niet meer zo koud is geweest,
er zijn ook plaatsen waar warmterecords ietsjes hoger gezet worden.
Zegt beiden niks, allemaal "cherry picking". Kijk naar 12.000 jaar geleden en het is bloedheet op aarde.

Wel zien we veel neerslag, dat is een aanwijzing van gebieden van warm oceaan water. Tegelijkertijd zien we ook gebieden met kouder water.
Global cooling kan niet beide verklaren: black swans, dus als onwaar beschouwen.
 
Eén black swan is genoeg.

Wat wil je zeggen met de zwakke zonnecyclus, deze is zwak,
de laatste paar waren sterk, dus er was toch global warming?

De huidige zonnecyclus is zwak vergeleken met de vorige 2 maar kijk 100 jaar terug..
Op deze staat de huidige (nr 24) niet, die is vergelijkbaar met 13 en 14e.

Nee, Mike, de thermometers geven verkeerd aan door de enorme opwarming waar deze instrumenten niet op berekend zijn. Dat ijs is geen ijs, het is witte aanslag als gevolg van de opwarming.

Thankfully, the mainstream press has discovered the true cause of the Syrian crisis – global warming.

No, this is not a joke. Mainstream outlets are actually suggesting that climate change is responsible, albeit indirectly, for the creation of ISIS and the scores of Western-backed terrorists flooding Syria as well as the now international military involvement in the war.

This is merely the latest silly narrative being promoted by the likes of Slate, Wired, The Telegraph, NBC, and The Guardian among many others.

Slate, by no means, is the sole purveyor of such abjectly stupid claims nor are the other media outlets listed above. Still, one need only read the Slate article to see how the “climate change is the real reason for the Syrian war” claim is being presented.

This is another pathetic attempt by the promoters of human-caused global warming (and carbon taxes) to not have to admit they were wrong back in 2000 when they proclaimed that "Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past" (UK Independent, March 20,2000) or just last November when they insisted this would not be a record setting winter such as the 5 that preceded it. Unable and unwilling to admit error (and lose all that funding to "prove" humans are warming the planet) this latest excuse reeks of desperation on the cusp of madness at protecting their pet theory and their own reputations. Human-caused global warming is real, but the cold winters are all the fault of China!

Climate on Earth is dominated by solar output (which is at record lows) and the slowly oscillating shape of earth's orbit from circular to elliptical and back to circular. When Earth's orbit is circular, we get the warmer interglacial periods. When the Earth's orbit is elliptical, then it spends more time further away from the sun at the far end of the ellipse per Kepler's laws of orbital motion and we get the ice ages. Al Gore and his cronies cannot control the sun or change the Earth's orbit. The whole hue and cry about human-caused global warming is a giant money-making scheme to sell carbon credits and to impose carbon taxes.
