Due to heavy fog, a Mi-171 helicopter carrying Iranian President Raisi and Foreign Minister Abdolahian made an emergency "hard landing" in Azerbaijan.

The Iraqi government instructed its interior ministry, the Red Crescent, and other relevant bodies to offer help to Iran in the search mission.
