On Sunday, the Islamic Republic of Iran awarded the International Islamic Human Rights Award to the martyr of the nation, the fighting leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas.
The ceremony of the eighth Islamic Human Rights Award was held under the title “Defending the Oppressed Palestinian People, the Axis of Resistance and Confronting the Crimes of the zionist Entity,” in the presence of Hamas’ representative in Iran, Dr. Khaled Qaddoumi, the head of the judiciary, army officials, and ambassadors of Islamic countries residing in Tehran.
The movement’s representative in Tehran, Khaled Al-Qaddoumi, received the Martyr Leader Haniyeh Award on behalf of his family and the movement, saying in his speech: Human rights are a broad and deep concept, and it means respecting human dignity and pride, stressing that human rights and people have no meaning for the criminal, child-killing zionist entity.”
