She sounds like she jumped over the Mexican border and ran away from the cartel.
That being said, she is spreading false information about the Quran.
Firstly, Surahs 5, 8, and 12 do not call for violence. Surah 5 has 120 verses, Surah 8 has 75, and Surah 12 has 111. @ValentinaForUSA is being deliberately vague, hoping that no one will fact-check her or call out her lies.
In the video posted by @hodgetwins, Surah 2, verse 191 is quoted. However, it is taken out of context—exactly the same tactic used by extremists.
The verse before it, Surah 2, verse 190, clearly states: “And fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not transgress limits. Truly, God does not love the aggressors.”
This shows that the Quran is speaking about DEFENSIVE warfare. It emphasizes that while you must defend yourself with resolve, you should not initiate aggression.
Furthermore, Islam does not permit forced conversion. In fact, the Quran explicitly states: “There is no compulsion in religion" (2:256).”
