The Commission was tasked with investigating the beginnings of the work process and the factors that influenced the government's decision. The government did not rule out the possibility of extending the inquiry to other related issues. The Commission had to update the government if it found a need to extend its investigation to additional issues beyond those defined in its mandate. The government also approved the budget and the timeline for the Commission's work. The Commission's report is due by 24.5.30.
2. The Commission held several meetings and obtained evidence, including documents and statements. The last such meeting took place on 24.5.30.
3. During the Commission’s work, the Commission met with the following key figures: the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff, the Chief of the Navy, the Chief of Mossad, and other officials.
