Giora Eiland, former head of Israel's national security council and advisor to defense minister Yoav Gallant admits that Israel has abandon its stated goal of defeating Hamas.

He tacitly admitted that Israel is committing mass murder in Gaza for internal political reasons, rather than to defeat Hamas, as we're constantly told.
