BREAKING: HAMAS OFFICIAL STATEMENT
ON JOURNALISTS KILLED
“A new constellation of journalists has joined the convoy of martyrs in the genocide war waged by the zionist occupation army against our unarmed people in the Gaza Strip, targeting all its components. The criminal killing machine has, in the past hours, targeted five journalists and their families, raising the number of journalist martyrs who have fallen since the start of this aggression to 158 journalists, brutally murdered with premeditation as part of this fascist government's policy, punishing them for performing their duty and erasing and obscuring the atrocities committed against civilians.
This massacre, executed by the terrorist occupation government against journalism and journalists, without any regard for the consequences of violating international laws that emphasize their protection and facilitation of their work, calls for a firm stance from the international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations, and the imposition of urgent measures to stop it and hold the occupation leaders accountable for their ongoing crimes.
We call on journalists, media figures, and all international journalistic and media institutions to support their Palestinian journalist colleagues, continue their mission that the fascist occupation tries to obliterate, provide all means of support and backing for them, and expose the brutal crimes of the occupation against them.”
