Today, MPs attempted to arrest soldiers at the Sde Teiman camp for sodomizing a Palestinian captive.
The soldiers revolted, refusing to leave and threatening action against the MPs. This sparked outrage among Israelis, who find the idea of soldiers being arrested for actions against Palestinians incomprehensible, despite such investigations being seen as cover-ups. Right-wing reservists and government members arrived at the camp to prevent the arrests.
In a video clip, Likud MK Hanoch Milwidsky announced a "voting strike" in response to the arrest attempts.

This was in response to an Israeli court ruling to detain Israeli jailers for torturing Palestinian detainees, including gang RAPING and torturing a Gazan detainee so severely that he was hospitalized.
