Vittorio Arrigoni was killed by Al-Qaeda after they kidnapped him and used him as a bargaining chip to get Hamas to release another Al-Qaeda member who had been imprisoned.
They gave Hamas a 30-hour deadline to meet their demands.
They ended up killing him before the 30 hours were over.
Hamas then initiated a manhunt and arrested the terrorists.
Palestinians would even hold events commemorating his death.
You just happened to conveniently leave that out.

(Also, while on the topic of Al-Qaeda, did you know that in 2015, The Wall Street Journal reported that Israel had opened its borders with Syria to treat injured Al-Qaeda terrorists and then send them back to Syria?
