“This news is devastating. Just yesterday, Mahmoud shared his plans and ongoing efforts to support the community. Today, his absence leaves a void deeply felt by his grieving family and the thousands of families who relied on his support,” Gaza Soup Kitchen officials said.

Mahmoud leaves behind seven children. His youngest is only two weeks old, while his eldest is still hospitalized, recovering from severe injuries sustained in a prior Israeli drone attack. Gaza Soup Kitchen asked, “How do you explain such a loss to a child?”

“Despite this sorrow, we remain steadfast. Mahmoud’s memory will continue to symbolize justice and resilience. We condemn this cowardly attack, which targeted not only Mahmoud but also the survival and dignity of the Palestinian people.”

⚡️BREAKING: Press Statement from the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas:

We demand the formation of an international committee to investigate the use of internationally prohibited weapons by the terrorist occupation army in northern Gaza, which result in the evaporation of bodies.

The harrowing testimonies provided by citizens and doctors in northern Gaza after the airstrikes and massacres targeting innocent civilians, along with confirmed cases of weapons and munitions causing bodies to evaporate, strongly indicate the use of internationally banned weapons by the terrorist occupation army during its brutal and ongoing extermination campaign for the past 53 days in the northern region of the Strip.

We call on the international community and the United Nations to establish a specialized international investigative committee to enter northern Gaza and uncover the nature of the munitions used by the fascist occupation army, which are causing these unprecedented injuries and cases. This investigation should expose the extensive violations of international laws committed against defenseless civilians, which so far have resulted in the martyrdom of approximately 3,000 people and the injury of more than 10,000, most of whom are women and children.

The international community, the United Nations, and our Arab and Islamic nations are called upon today to take responsibility for stopping the ongoing violations and massacres in Gaza, which have persisted for 420 days. Through these actions, the occupation flagrantly defies all laws, humanitarian values, and international political and judicial institutions. There is an urgent need to hold the Zionist war criminals accountable for their crimes against humanity.
