Israel will now deal with the fallout of its stunning defeat and uncertain relationship with its benefactor, which under the leadership of incoming president Donald Trump, surprisingly forced it to agree to a ceasefire it had negotiated many months before.
The future of Palestine is bright, however distant its ultimate liberations remains, while the future of Zionism has never been more doubtful. Humanity will prevail.
