BREAKING: EGYPTIAN SOLDIERS KILL ONE ISRAELI SOLDIER AND INJURE 7 OTHERS AT RAFAH CROSSING.

Israeli soldiers from the 401st Armored Brigade attempted to cross a site near the Rafah crossing, claiming to be "pursuing saboteurs."

The Egyptian forces engaged with the Israeli forces, killing one Israeli soldier and injuring seven others, three of them critically.

The Israeli forces retreated to take cover behind a barrier and reported the incident to security commanders in Tel Aviv, who then began communication with Cairo.
